The man and his wife had no idea the song was based on their story until the songwriters called them up a few weeks ago. The song was inspired by an interview with a man whose son, Jared, died while serving overseas in the military. Curb Lee Brice celebrated his latest #1 hit, "I Drive Your Truck," at a party on Music Row in Nashville Monday, and a few special guests made the event even sweeter for him.
